This tour combines the hottest eco-adventure locations in and around Rio de Janeiro with the world famous Brazilian wetlands of the Pantanal. This trip is right for those who want be directly in touch with nature and see and experience it up close. Brazil has some of the world’s greatest bio-diversity and we will take you to see why Brazil is a “can’t miss for anyone who loves nature and soft adventure.

Day 1
Depart your City for your adventure to Brazil!

Day 2
Upon arrival, you will receive a personalized reception at the airport followed by a transfer to your chosen hotel. The rest of the day will be free to relax at the beach or to explore this marvelous and enchanting city. There are many things to choose from that will amaze and intrigue you!

Overnight in Rio de Janeiro

Day 3
Today, after a hearty breakfast, you will leave towards a day of trekking up the Corcovado Mountain where the Christ Statue is located. Our trek will take us through the native Atlantic Rain Forest until we get to the cable car tracks which we will follow to the top. Our return trail will be either taking the charming Swiss made funicular train down the mountain or trek back down through the forest…After a delicious lunch in a local restaurant, we next will trek up the Sugar loaf Mountains. This dramatic granite rock structure is a well known Rio land-mark and a famous tourist hot spot. From the top, we will take in the dramatic views of the beaches and condos well below. On the way down, we take the cable car. Balance of the day will be yours to rest and relax.

Day 4
After a delicious breakfast, we will ascend the local Rio Mountains through the Tropical Tijuca Forest in order to rappel the “Bico do Papagaio” or Parrots Beak! Our trail starts below a 3,000 foot mountain where we will first take a two hour trek to the very top enjoying the local fauna and flora along the way that includes exotic species of parrots, toucans, and even monkeys! From the top, with dramatic and unforgettable views of the entire city of Rio de Janeiro as well as other nearby towns, your rappelling adventure begins!

Balance of afternoon and evening will be yours to rest and relax after your delightful morning activities!

Day 5
After your last tropical breakfast Rio style, transfer to the airport for your flight to Brazil’s (and the world’s) greatest swampland called the Pantanal! Upon arrival in Cuiaba City Airport, located on the edge of the Pantanal itself, you will be greeted and transferred to your eco-lodge deep in the heart of this exotic land. The Pantanal was an open sea millions of years ago and today maintains its ancient waters and animals through periodic flooding from the mountains to the North. Called the greatest outdoor reserve in the world, you can see thousands of species of birds, dozens of exotic mammals, and the most famous inhabitant of all, the local alligator!

Balance of the day is yours to get acquainted with your surroundings and enjoy being away from it all!

Day 6
After a great breakfast, you will enjoy a full day of amazing soft eco-adventure activities including trekking and riding a 4X4 deep into the jungle swamps to observe native animals and flora.

Day 7
After another delicious breakfast, enjoy another day of fantastic fun with more eco-adventure activities including an exhilarating boat ride through the swamplands observing the exotic nature and wilderness followed by a visit of some local villages still inhabited by Indian descendants. In the afternoon you will be free to enjoy one or more of many activities such as horseback riding, fishing, and much much more!

Day 8
After your last breakfast in the world’s greatest outdoor reserve, you will transfer to the airport to take your flight home...
